#100BlockSJ Mural Artist
Powered by San Jose arts non-profit @LocalColor
#100BlockSJ is a public mural created in collaboration by 100 artists, located in the SoFA (South First Arts) district of Downtown San Jose. Participants included mostly local artists ranging from seasoned to first-time muralists, painting individual pieces that would come together to complete the 15’ x 60’ tiled mural over a beautifully orchestrated two-weeks. After three years in planning, the ambitious Local Color team executed the largest public art collaboration in the city of San Jose while providing equal and fair pay for every artist.
“Save the Domes” was a contribution inspired by San Jose’s passion for their people, art, buildings, and businesses, with a personal dedication to my dad and uncle.

A 3-Day mural painting event in celebration of the original Local Color creative safe haven where artists gathered to support, practice and exhibit their passion. 70 artists came together as a final goodbye to fill the 24,000 sq. ft. space with color for one last time.
Local Color has since re-located to continue providing safe and affordable studio spaces and move forward their mission to support and produce more creative economic opportunities for local artists.
